Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get my unit repaired?
First we need to assess you unit. We usually can't give you a price to repair you unit without getting it out of the vehicle and opening it up on our test bench. Usually, although it is getting becoming frequent now, we don't need the car to fix the unit, so after its out, you can drive away and leave it with us for repair.
How long will it take to repair my items?
This is difficult to answer. We usually assess your unit within 3 - 5 working days, and will call you to let you know what the cost is and how long. Usually the hardest part is the diagnosis, and often we can repair it within 24 hours if you go ahead with the repair if parts are in stock. At the time, we will let you know if parts need to be ordered in and how long they will take. Sometimes, our only source for parts are overseas, and can take a few weeks to arrive.
How much does it cost to assess?
We have several levels of assessment:

Basic: $40 to $50. This is for removal, assessment, and reinstall of basic repairs, and allows for up to 1 hour of diagnosis.
Moderate: $120. This is for removal, assessment, and reinstall of more difficult to diagnose repairs up to 2 hours.
Extensive: $250. This is for removal, assessment, and reinstall of repairs that require considerable time to diagnose and fault find. This can apply to many of the integrated systems that also require the vehicle for us to test and diagnose.
Do you have any loan cars?
Unfortunately no. If we need your vehicle for testing/diagnosis, you will have to arrange your own transportation.
